Jennifer Sweinhart, DVM

Dr. Sweinhart joined the practice in 1997. After attending Virginia Polytechnic Institute, she graduated from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993.
Dr. Sweinhart has a special interest in veterinary dentistry, and she headed the acquisition of our first dental radiograph system.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Sweinhart has two daughters and an amazing collection of LEGO toys.
Cristina Sherer, DVM

PRACTICE OWNER
Dr. Sherer joined Powell Veterinary Clinic in 2005, and became the owner of the practice in 2019. She earned her Bachelor's in Animal Science at The Ohio State University, then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at The Ohio State Veterinary College in 2001. Dr. Sherer has a special interest in exotic mammalian, or “pocket pet” medicine, owing to her previous experiences of breeding and showing rabbits.
She has a small farm where she raises chickens and has horses and cats. Her farm is an Ohio Conservation Reserve Program Prairie Preserve site for wildlife.
Dr. Sherer enjoys scuba diving and gardening.
Sari Eisen, DVM

Dr. Eisen joined the practice in 2025. Originally from a suburb just north of Chicago, she brings a radiant smile and positive energy to all of her patients and clients. Dr. Eisen earned her Bachelor’s in Animal Sciences at The Ohio State University. She went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Ross University.
When she is not loving on her own rescue pooch, Feta, a sweet “coconut retriever” from St. Kitts Island, she enjoys exploring new foods around the Columbus Area. She stays active outside of work by skiing, playing soccer and going to concerts. In her own words, “I would like to think that I am a bright part of the day. I am potentially too in love with everyone else’s animals. However, this means I will love them almost like my own.”
